Moraira retains its essence as a fishing village despite being one of the most exclusive enclaves on the Costa Blanca. The premium refuge of the Northern Costa Blanca, without high-rise construction

Moraira is the coastal district of the municipality of Teulada, but it operates as an independent village with its own personality. Here, there are no apartment towers: a municipal ordinance limits construction to 2-3 stories, and individual villas on large plots are predominant. It is the most premium German/Dutch/British village in the entire Costa Blanca: 9,000 registered inhabitants but over 25,000 in the summer. It features an elegant marina with 600 berths, two main family beaches (El Portet, shaped like a shell, and L'Ampolla with a promenade), a small center with bistros, wine shops, and a Friday market that attracts expats from all over the Marina Alta. Bodega Bodegas Bocopa is located in the municipality. The coastal castle (1742) on the front line is one of the most beautiful in the Valencian Community.

Who is Moraira for?

Moraira is designed for premium buyers who value tranquility and a low profile: affluent German families, wealthy Dutch retirees, British executives spending winters here. It is not an area for investors seeking quick returns; it is for those who want a high-quality second home or a primary residence with privacy.
