San Miguel de Salinas

7,500 habitantes · 55 km de Alicante

San Miguel de Salinas is one of the quietest municipalities in the southern Costa Blanca, with a traditional town centre and a real estate market focused on premium residential developments built over the last 15 years. Proximity to the Torrevieja Lagoons (the salt flats from which the municipality takes its name) and top-tier golf courses — Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been ranked among the top 10 in Europe by Golf World magazine — have turned the area into a magnet for European premium buyers.

The offer is distributed across three segments: modern villas and private residential developments such as Las Filipinas, Blue Lagoon, Las Colinas Golf and Vistabella Golf (average price €280,000–€650,000); bungalows with garden on ground floor and duplexes with solarium (€180,000–€320,000); and traditional homes in the village (€130,000–€220,000).

The main difference with Torrevieja is tranquillity: no mass tourism here, but in 10 minutes by car you have all the shopping and beach offer of the coast. Dominant communities: British, Irish, Scandinavian and Belgian. Ideal for retirees, golfers and families looking for a premium residential environment at moderate prices.

It has 7,000 registered inhabitants but many residential developments around (Las Ramblas, Blue Lagoon, Los Altos) that are very popular among the British.
